ABOUT

I’m Shahar Hochman — a musician, guitarist, producer, and sound designer with over 10 years of professional experience.

My journey began with the guitar and expanded into composition, production, and sound design, driven by a curiosity for music, collaboration, and the creative process behind an artist’s sound.

As a live guitarist and creative collaborator, I’ve worked closely with leading Israeli artists, producers, and musical directors, contributing to live performances, arrangements, and musical direction across intimate clubs, major venues, and festivals.

In the studio, I create original music that blends jazz harmony, electronic textures, and ambient soundscapes. My sound design work is developed in close collaboration with filmmaker and artist Anna-Maria Bazian, combining foley, field recordings, and original music to support visual storytelling.

At the core of my work is a curiosity for what makes music and artists distinctive. Whether performing, producing, or collaborating, I approach each project with sensitivity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of musical identity.
