Below The Surface

Below the Surface is a final student film from Bezalel Academy, directed by Ido Moshe and Hila Frenkel. The work explores a metaphorical journey from darkness into light, confronting inner struggles that are not always visible on the surface.

Our sound design approach focused on building an emotional, multi-layered world, combining precise dubbing, delicate foley textures, original music, and rich sound layers. Every sonic element was crafted to heighten the cinematic experience and emphasize the film’s themes of transformation, resilience, and renewed hope.
